The polycarbonate roof does a very similar job to the glass roof only it’s better at keeping the warmth in and won’t let as much natural light in but it is still enough for the conservatory to be bright enough. Then you have the tiled roof and this is used to be warm during the winter this is because it has thick insulation in the roof and means that the natural light will be blocked out. But if you really want there to be some natural light inside of the conservatory then you can get skylights installed into the roof.
